For the connector of the clip, the leakage is caused by the loss of the hook or the deformation of the end face of the pipe due to the large external force or impact on the line; at this point, should check whether the clip is out of round, whether there is a defect cutting edge, whether the pipe end is intact and the clamping nut compression degree, and so on, but also eliminate the external pipe force. In some cases, gaskets can be used to prevent the leakage of the adapter. There are several reasons for the leakage of the adapter: the aging or deformation of the seal ring, the assembly of the seal ring is not in place, making two plane connections when the pressure is uneven, or the seal ring was cut to cause leakage; seal ring is not compacted, elastic deformation is insufficient and cause leakage; seal ring sealing groove is too deep and cause leakage.
Need to re-select the same external diameter and cross-section thick seal ring, can also be sealing plane with a groove cutting or grinding, to reduce the groove depth, make the seal ring has enough elastic deformation (compression should generally be 0.35-0.65 mm). In the case of leakage at the pipe joint where the snap-on joint is made of oil-resistant rubber sheet, wool felt, soft steel paper board, combined seal washer, or sealant, no matter what the material is, first check whether the snap-on joint seal is damaged or not, deformation, aging and excessive roughness and so on, and then take the corresponding measures.
