Overview
Available as on-off, switching, or crossover, Walter ball valves can be manufactured or configured to various specifications. Ease of operation is the main advantage of ball valves. This is a very reliable device for a complete and tight shutoff in industrial applications.
Full Product Description
One-piece Instrumentation Ball Valves
One-piece Instrumentation Ball Valves are available with various actuators, flow paths, handle options, and easy in-line packing adjustment.
High Performance Ball Valves
High Performance Ball Valves are suited for the high-pressure application.
Trunnion Ball Valves
Trunnion Ball Valves provide reliable closing or switching functions. Upper and lower bearings enhance trunnion design resistance, prevent seizure, and increase the valve life in extreme applications.
Hex Bar Stock Ball Valves
Hex Bar Stock Ball Valves simplify installation, minimize rework requirements and provide reliable turn-off performance.
Bar Stock Ball Valves
Bar Stock Ball Valves all valves offer the user full cold working pressure ratings up to 10,000 PSI (689 Bar)
3-piece Ball Valves
3-piece Ball Valves are durable valves that can handle various piping and piping loads. The center body portion of the ball valve can swing out, providing a quick and easy seat, seal, and ball replacement. This servicing capability eliminates the need to remove valves from meter piping or piping systems.
How Ball Valves Work?
The valves can be two-way or more, depending on the number of ports. A two-way valve can be bidirectional. That is when there are two seats, one for the upflow and the other for the downflow. There are other ball valves that allow flow in many directions. Cost-effectiveness is the goal for these valves.
These valves take a quarter turn to open, allowing components to pass through. Sealing the pipe using this kind of valve is to make another quarter turn, depending on the shut-off design.
